Veronica was first exposed to the beautiful art of yoga as a teenager growing up in Cardiff by the Sea, CA. She practiced on and off as a means to add variety to her active lifestyle. It wasn’t until adulthood when Veronica deepened her yoga practice. Faced with the divorce of her long-term relationship, Veronica needed a physical activity that would help her become present in the moment free from the chaos and stress of life’s uncontrollable events. It was on the four corners of Veronica’s mat where she was able to develop inner peace, practice self-love and acceptance, and expand her spiritual life.
A true believer in that things happen for a reason, Veronica embraces each life lesson with gratitude and compassion. Veronica’s goal is to create a fun and supportive environment for her students, adults and children, where they can discover their potential on multiple levels.
Veronica has assisted in teaching 200-hour yoga teacher training programs for aspiring yoga instructors, and has experience in teaching Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, Restorative, Meditation and Sound Healing classes. Her yoga training and education in sound healing modalities additionally includes instruction by a Tibetan Buddhist born and raised in the Himalayas regarding the traditional techniques of Tibetan singing bowls.
With great appreciation and respect for divine timing, Veronica feels blessed for the many experiences she continues to receive that cultivate life-changing connections with others through yoga and sound healing. In addition to her regular and private classes, these experiences have included teaching internationally, helping pioneer the expansion of a prenatal yoga program for Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns, leading workshops and retreats, and providing media expertise for TV, print and online publications.
When Veronica is not teaching or practicing yoga, she is overseeing marketing for a San Diego-based company. Veronica is a graduate of the University of San Diego, and holds three yoga specialty designations as a certified 500-Hour, Prenatal, and Children’s Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.
