Veronica was first exposed to the beautiful art of yoga as a teenager growing up in Cardiff by the Sea, CA. She practiced on and off as a means to add variety to her active lifestyle. It wasn’t until adulthood when Veronica deepened her yoga practice.
Faced with the divorce of her long-term relationship, Veronica needed a physical activity that would help her become present in the moment free from the chaos and stress of life’s uncontrollable events. It was on the four corners of Veronica’s mat where she was able to develop inner peace, practice self-love and acceptance, and expand her spiritual life.
A true believer in that things happen for a reason, Veronica embraces each life lesson with gratitude and compassion. Veronica’s goal is to create a fun and supportive environment for her students, adults and children, where they can discover their potential on multiple levels. She has assisted in teaching 200-hour yoga teacher training programs for aspiring yoga instructors, and has experience in teaching Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, Restorative and Meditation classes, while also incorporating Tibetan singing bowls as sound healing.
When Veronica is not teaching or practicing yoga, she is directing marketing, communication and public relations strategies for a San Diego-based company. Veronica is a graduate of the University of San Diego, and a certified 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance.
