About Veronica

I was divinely reacquainted with the ancient limbs and philosophy of yoga during a dark chapter in my life that consisted of turmoil, trauma, and unease. It was because of that storm that led me to yoga and the ability to develop inner peace, embrace self-love and worth, and expand my spiritual life through the four corners of my mat.

Due to the life-changing experiences and lessons I had learned, I felt it was only right for me to share the Eastern teachings of yoga with others by becoming a teacher. It is my intent to honor these ancient teachings so that others too can experience life with mindfulness, awareness, sacredness, and compassion for themselves and others if they consciously choose to. Additionally, create a fun and supportive environment for my students, adults and children, where they can discover their potential on multiple levels.

I assist in teaching 200-hour yoga teacher training programs for aspiring yoga instructors, and have experience in teaching Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, Restorative, Meditation and Sound Healing classes. My yoga training and education in sound healing modalities additionally includes instruction by a Tibetan Buddhist raised in the Himalayas regarding the traditional techniques of Tibetan singing bowls.

With great appreciation and respect for divine timing, I feel blessed for the many experiences I continue to receive that cultivate life-changing connections with others through yoga and sound healing. In addition to my private classes, these experiences have included teaching internationally, helping pioneer the expansion of a prenatal yoga program for Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns, establishing nature yoga and sound healing offerings at Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa, leading workshops and retreats, and providing media expertise.

I hold five yoga specialty designations through Yoga Alliance as a certified Experienced 200-Hour (E-RYT 200), 500-Hour (RYT 500), Children’s (RCYT), and Prenatal (RPYT) Yoga Teacher, and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) in teaching qualified courses to yoga teachers. My formal education includes graduating from the University of San Diego (USD) with studies in communication, business administration and marketing. I’m additionally a qualified early childhood educator and received my certification as a TESOL teacher from USD. When I’m not teaching private yoga and sound healing classes, I’m directing marketing initiatives for an international children’s nonprofit.
